The trawlerman fish and chip shop is situated on Woodhouse lane opposite Farmfoods store. It is a traditional english fish and chip shop which is family run.
The trawlerman serves a wide range of hot foods, fish , chips, pies, fishcakes, sausage, burgers, smacks,pasties along with all the usual sauces, mushy peas, curry etc, As well as doing take away meals there is a small eating in section within the fish and chip shop where you can sit and eat your food if you like. The chippy is popular with locals and also gets a lot of trade from local industries so is always well visited. You can park nearby if you are in a car and want to take your food home.The owner of the chippy Ronnie is well known locally for his sense of humour and great personality and he likes to keep his customers amused.
